The Journey to Social Media Metrics that Matter

By admin | September 2nd, 2014

Atiba University dug into the strategy and analytics behind social media with guest presenters Jon Henshaw and Arienne Holland from Raven. Moderated by our own Paul Hickey, VP of Interactive Marketing for Atiba, we learned about the importance of establishing your business priorities while facing the truth of your business realities. Social media is a very important aspect of marketing your company, but the most successful results come with a strategy and tools to measure your efforts.

Jon Henshaw, co-founder of Raven, pointed out important points to consider before starting in on a social campaign such as the demographic of each network, the time and cost involved as well as your audiences expectations. Arienne followed up with discussing the importance of mapping out your journey, including defining who is in charge of the strategy and what they would do in the case of a crisis.

As per the usual, the folks at Raven are great about providing recommendations for tools to use to accomplish your goals and in this case, how to report on the results. Along with Google Analytics, which is free and used widely by our strategists at Atiba, here is a list of others you may want to review.

Food Journey – the first feast

By jrosen | February 25th, 2014

Yo! I’m Leah. I’m a creative strategist at Cabedge and I do cool design stuff. This is my first blog post ever *high five! … probably to myself* I will be blogging about my Food Journey through Cummins Station. Because…food is better than everything, am I right?

Our office is in Cummins Station and as you may or may not know, there are a plethora of great restaurants in the building. Over the past few months, my teammates have developed signature lunches from the different places in CS, creating a food frenzy in the office. I’m on the quest to try them all and hopefully, find my own signature feast. Read More

24 Hour Design-A-thon Delivers for TN Literacy Coalition

By admin | July 15th, 2013

We were honored to sponsor this year’s Design-A-Thon and be a part of giving back to the Nashville Community, specifically the Tennessee Literacy Coalition. I’ve personally been involved all three years, but having the support of Cabedge as a sponsor meant a great deal to me and to the team.

Design-A-Thon was launched in 2010 when founders Ian Rhett and Jessica Murray saw the creative talent that existed in Nashville and the potential to help provide much-needed marketing resources to local and state-wide nonprofit organizations. Nearly 30 of Nashville’s most creative minds gather each year for a 24-hour design marathon. The volunteers provide website development, marketing strategy, collateral design and other creative services to a deserving nonprofit. Read More
