Don’t ask me how, but back prior to my freshman year at Michigan State University, I happened to test into an advanced math class. The good news was that I didn’t have to pay to take the entry class and the advanced class, but the bad news was that I was in way over my head from day one. I was lost – not a clue what was going on, but I didn’t want to fail. I had to work extra hard, but study halls and tutors were only half the battle. LinkedIn has 175 million individuals and 2 million companies who have maintain profiles on their business focused social media network, but there has been little connection between those individuals and companies other than the that of the employer/employee.
