You may have already heard about new Top Level Domains coming out. Kudos to the company NameCheap, who is putting a lot of eggs in the TLD basket going up against the big boys like GoDaddy and Network Solutions, providing email alerts when new extensions are announced.
Wait, what the heck am I talking about? It’s simple. Basically, .com is king – and likely always will be. You want www.yourbusinessname.com. We don’t all have it, so we maybe have a .org, a .net or even a .co – as GoDaddy did an awesome job pumping up during last year’s Super Bowl – instead. There could be some much better alternative options presenting themselves soon. Here’s a little more backstory, but simply put, ICANN is releasing a plethora of new domain extensions.
