We’re Pumped About #Nashtag and AU

This week was an exciting one at Cabedge. We helped our sister company, Atiba Software, launch two semi-major community-based marketing initiatives – Atiba University and #Nashtag.

Our first “Nerd U” event took place on Tuesday, September 18 as Chief Geek JJ Rosen and CIO Scott Smith spoke about “The Cloud.” The series will continue with a sit down pow wow each month, with Cabedge Creative Director Matthew Rogers on deck with a Brand Experience presentation scheduled for October 16. We encourage our clients and prospective clients to come learn more about what we do by joining us for these sessions at E|SPACES.

#Nashtag is a bit of a different animal altogether. It’s all about doing content well, which is probably the hardest thing to do on the web currently. There is so much competition for eyeballs, and so much information being shared, it’s hard to know where to look to find what.

Each issue of the magazine will include an interview with an industry expert or community leader. The first issue of #Nashtag includes an interview with digital marketing consultant and social media strategist, Dave Delaney, who is synonymous with Podcamp Nashville, NashCockTail and Nashville Geek Breakfast. Additional content each month will include technology news, timely business information, weird or unusual facts, spotlights on charitable organizations and more. Here’s more on #Nashtag.

We’ll always be working to improve at everything we do, especially these two initiatives. I just wanted to take a breather for a minute and reflect on our week of giving birth to these two new future mainstays.
